Everyone keeps telling me to just copy paste the URL into wherever I want to put it, but then it just shows up as the URL, and not the picture.

To get the URL you can either right click the image and select "copy image location" or copy the "Direct link" as displayed in photobucket.

Using the "html tag" option makes it so the image is clickable and leads to photobucket, basically advertising through your picture.

When you click them they are copied. Depending on the site you go to, just copy and paste the code needed into the box (like the one you see when typing responses and questions).
